Breakfast on the Farm Scheduled For April
Plans
are underway for the 13th annual Association of Women
in Agriculture (AWA) Breakfast on the Farm. The breakfast
will be held on Sunday, April 13th from 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
at the Stock Pavilion located on the UW-Madison campus.
This
country tradition includes a farm fresh meal of pancakes,
eggs, applesauce, mushrooms, sausage, milk, juice and
ice cream. Tickets can be purchased at the door for adults
$7, seniors (65+) $6, students $5 and kids (under 5) $3.
The
event also includes an educational area featuring a petting
zoo and agriculture awareness activities. Entertainment
during the event includes a polka band and cloggers.
